Corrections
Virela makes mistakes. When that happens, we correct them publicly and leave a visible record. This page explains how that process works.
An error corrected in silence is almost as problematic as one left uncorrected. At Virela, every correction is recorded in the article with an updated date and an explicit note. We do not delete previous versions of factual content without leaving a trace.
If you find something incorrect in a Virela article (wrong data, an incorrect date, an unsupported claim, or any other inaccuracy), write to us directly. Include the article title or URL and a brief description of the error.
Each report follows this process:
We do not delete articles to hide errors. We do not edit silently without leaving a note. We do not respond to external pressure to modify factually correct content. Corrections apply to factual errors, not differences of opinion or editorial angle.
We review every report. Most are resolved within 1 to 3 business days. If the error requires additional investigation, we respond to confirm receipt and provide an estimated resolution time.
