Editorial policy
Virela exists to explain what is moving the internet with editorial judgement, not to amplify noise. We cover AI, technology, digital culture, science and digital tools with a focus on Spanish-speaking readers - globally.
Before publishing, every article goes through 15 criteria:
We use AI as a research, translation and editorial assistance tool. Voice, judgement and editorial responsibility remain human. Any AI-assisted article goes through the Virela Filter before publishing.
Articles are signed as 'Virela Editorial' (organisation) when produced by the team, or with the real contributor's name when applicable. We do not use fictional bylines.
When an article cites specific data, dates or studies, sources appear at the end of the article. If a source is unavailable, we state that explicitly.
If you find an error in an article, write to us. Corrections are reflected in the article's updated date. We do not hide errors; we correct them visibly. hola@virela.net.
When an article covers Virela Universe products we disclose it at the top. When there is a commercial relationship with a mentioned brand, we disclose that too.
Some articles published before 2026 are marked as 'noindex' while we curate or rewrite them to current standards. We do not delete them - preserving the editorial record matters.
